Kid Icarus vs. Pit

I've had strange ideas of comparing Kid Icarus as he was in the 80's and his new form that was used in Super Smash Bros.

I think it's so funny all of a sudden he's become a Nintendo hearthrob. He was cute before in weird sort of way, I loved him on Captain N. I'm still crossing my fingers a new game comes out in the series. I don't care which version of Pit they use, I like them the same.
