Legend of Zelda: The Right to the Master Sword
Chapter 2
Warren found himself lying in a field. After staring at the clouds above for a while he sat up, cringing at the pain in his shoulder.
"Link, you ok?" Glimmer asked.
"Why do you keep calling me Link?" Warren growled.
"Because that's your name."
"No, it's not....My name is Warren. And where the heck are we?" Warren looked at their surroundings.
"Home" Glimmer smiled. Then she finally realised Warren was completely cluesess what she was saying. "Don't you remember Hyrule?"
"High----rule?"
Warren staggered to his feet and brushed himself off. He spotted his ocarina a few feet away along with his backpack. He slug the bag over the shoulder but the pain ripped through him, forcing him back to the ground.
"Link!" Glimmer flew over to him "You need help. Don't move."
Glimmer flew around close by trying to figure out what to do. She needed to get him to someone but didn't want to leave his side. Luckily just a couple minutes later a girl with long red hair came riding over a nearby hill and spotted them. She stopped the horse by them. "Howdy" she said. She saw Warren setting on the ground, holding his shoulder. She gasped in some strange tongue, that Warren did not understand.
"Huh, sorry, I don't speak..." Warren said
The girl was startled by Warren's language, however found it intriguing as well as his clothes.
"I can translate" Glimmer piped up. "She asked if you were alright or if you needed assistance."
Warren nodded.
"My name's Malon." The girl grinned. "Here. How bad are you hurt?"
"Just my shoulder, I think." Warren winced at his words.
"Hm, do you think you can get on my horse?"
"I could try"
Malon got off Epona and helped Warren onto the back, then fastened his bag to the saddle. She then led Epona back towards Lon Lon Ranch. Along the way, she would constantly look back at Warren, trying to figure him out. "I don't want to be rude, but, where are you from?" she inquired.
Warren had to think for a second. "America."
"Uh-Mare-i-kuh?" She tried to repeat the syllables in her thick accent.
